     Thad is from Waverly, IA and currently lives in Iowa City, IA. He has been a professional photographer since 2009, specializing in wedding photography. Thad graduated from Hawkeye Community College with a degree in Professional Photography majoring in Photojournalism. ​

Thad Buege Photography

     From 2010-2012 he was a freelance photographer for the University of Northern Iowa. Covering several sporting events and photographing team pictures. In 2010, Thad captured first place at the Iowa State Fair in the Special Black and White Division with his photo, "The Old Ball and Chain."


     With words of encouragement and several word of mouth inquiries, Thad decided to launch Thad Buege Photography in 2014. Offering a variety of services including engagement, wedding, senior and family pictures.
